STUDENT PROJECTS
Siddarth’s initial research began in 2022 at the University of Chicago with his mentors, Dr. David Onsager, Daniel Rodgers, and Dr. Valluvan Jeevanandam, with a project focused on temperature measurements in donor hearts during procurement. In his senior year, Siddarth worked together with two other IMSA students and researched a project titled, A Retrospective Analysis of 118 Adult Heart Transplant Centers from 2020 to 2022, which was aimed to create a numerical metric that evaluated a
center’s Index of Aggression (IA) and sought to determine the relationship between IA and survival outcomes. Both abstracts can be viewed in the IMSAloquium Collection in Digital Commons.
