IMSA Kids Institute Hosts 2003 Open House; Science Show to Debut

AURORA-- The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) Kids Institute is hosting an Open House on Saturday, January 25, 2003 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at 1500 W. Sullivan Road in Aurora. During that time, IMSA students will lead hands-on science activities as well as a new 45-minute “States of Matter and Chemical Reactions” show targeted to students in grades 2-4 held at 2:15 and 4:15 p.m.
In addition to various hands-on science activities for younger students including a SciTech Hands-On Museum activity table, the Open House will feature weekend and summer program previews, onsite program registration for Kids Institute winter-spring workshops and tours of IMSA. There is no onsite summer program registration this year, but the summer program flyer will be available for early preview before the general mailing. Kids Institute workshops and summer programs serve students in grades 2-8.
